Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo has revealed that he would welcome a permanent move to Galatasaray after two successful loan spells there.
The Brazil international has been with the Serie A champions since 2009, scoring four goals in 78 appearances in all competitions.
He was a regular fixture for the Turkish team in 2012-13 and also featured in their UEFA Champions League campaign, in which they reached the quarter-finals.
Do not rule anything out. Galatasaray is a great team, where I was very happy in those two years, with three titles and twice voted the best player in the league, Melo told Brazilian newspaper Portal Da Band.
I identify with the fans and the club. I believe that Galatasaray are also in negotiations. This is the week that we will know the future.

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid head into their Champions League quarter-final first leg on Tuesday on the back of contrasting weekends in La Liga s title race.
Champions Barca lost 2-1 to bitter rivals Real Madrid in El Clasico on Saturday, meaning their lead at the summit was cut to six points as a result of second-placed Atleti storming to a 5-1 win over Real Betis.
Atletico remain title outsiders but will be buoyed by the memory of overcoming Barcelona at the same stage in the Champions League two seasons ago before going on to claim Liga glory.
For me, this game [Clasico] no longer exists, said Luis Enrique, whose Barcelona side saw a phenomenal 39-match unbeaten run come to an end against 10-man Madrid.
There is no pain or anything you can think of.…
Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is afraid he will never regain his best form following his latest injury nightmare.
The Germany international made his first appearance of the season as a second-half substitute in the 6-0 win at Watford last Saturday and is in line to start Wednesday s EFL Cup match against West Brom.
It was Gundogan s first game since he suffered cruciate ligament damage last December, an injury that struck following a strong start to his City career following his move from Borussia Dortmund.
The 26-year-old missed the majority of the 2013-14 campaign with a back injury that kept him out of Germany s triumphant World Cup campaign, and knee damage picked up in Dortmund training in May last year saw him miss Euro 2016.

Memphis Depay has revealed that he thinks he s a better player after leaving Manchester United. The Dutchman really struggled to get a foot hold in the first team at Old Trafford, and as a result, became a source of frustration both for the fans and some members of the media. The 24 year old spent two years in Manchester between 2015 and 2017, after making a big money move from PSV Eindhoven.
He showed flashes of brilliance but wasn t able to maintain that on a consistent basis, and the relationship between himself and the club turned sour as a result. That led to him moving over to French football with Lyon, where he s been a revelation as he helps the club to push for the championship.
Depay has served as one of many notable players to have come through the doors at U…
England defender John Stones said facing Croatia in an empty stadium in the Nations League shapes as being a strange situation.
Gareth Southgate s men meet Croatia in Rijeka on Friday in a rematch of their World Cup semi-final, but a completely different atmosphere is set to await.
The hosts are serving a ban for a punishment handed to them in 2015, when a swastika pattern was seen on their pitch during a Euro 2016 qualifier against Italy.
Stones is prepared for the unusual situation, but said it was likely to have a bigger impact on Croatia.
We spoke about it during the week, how to handle it, what we re coming into and that we re coming into this game with none of our fans and especially none of their fans, which will play a bigger part on their behal…
FC Barcelona have not grabbed headlines as they did last season when they sold Neymar to PSG. It has not been like when they acquired Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool during the January transfer window earlier this year, either. But that does not mean that they have been a passive team during the transfer market.
Ernesto Valverde wanted to bolster the defence, and quickly signed Clement Lenglet from Sevilla. The Frenchman is considered one of the most promising centre-backs in Europe. He should be in conditions to, at least, fight for playing time at the centre-back position.
Valverde also wanted to add depth in midfield. The solution? They brought Arthur from Gremio, even though he should have joined the side during January next year. He was not the only Brazilian tha…
Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana has retired from international football at the age of 26 after being suspended by team management at the World Cup.
The Inter player was ousted from the Indomitable Lions squad during the tournament in Qatar for undisclosed disciplinary reasons.
At the time, Onana denied acting against the team s interests after reports of a disagreement with coach Rigobert Song, and said his punishment was hard to understand.
Now he has elected to quit Cameroon duty completely.
Onana wrote in a Twitter post that he had fulfilled his great dream of playing for his country.
In the message, he spoke of endless hours of training, endless trips and a lot of perseverance .
But every story, however beautiful it may be, has its en…
Ivan Perisic rescued a 1-1 draw for Croatia after Patrik Schick became the leading scorer in Euro 2020 with a controversial penalty.
Schick scored a decisive double, including a stunning long-range strike, in Czech Republic s opening 2-0 Group D win over Scotland at Hampden Park and put his side in front from the spot at the same venue.
Croatia were understandably aggrieved that Dejan Lovren was penalised for seemingly accidentally catching Schick on the nose with his elbow after the VAR asked Carlos del Cerro Grande to check the pitchside monitor in the first half.
Perisic levelled early in the second period, leaving Croatia three points behind Czech Republic and two adrift of England – who play Scotland later on Friday – with one game to play against S…
Kylian Mbappe has shrugged off the taunts from Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez following France s defeat in the World Cup final.
Martinez has come in for significant criticism for his actions following Argentina s shoot-out win over Les Bleus in Qatar, where he called for a minute s silence for Mbappe in dressing room celebrations.
The Aston Villa keeper was then was pictured with a doll with the Paris Saint-Germain star s face stuck on it during an open-top bus parade in Buenos Aires.
Mbappe was not fazed by Martinez s behaviour and offered a blunt verdict when a question was posed to him about the antics.
Celebrations are not my problem. I don t waste energy in such trivial things, he told RMC Sport after PSG s Ligue 1 win against Strasbourg on …

Knowing that they can clinch a Champions League return this weekend, Tottenham will make the trip to an already-relegated Norwich on Sunday afternoon.
Norwich
Starting with the hosts, while Norwich might have made the decision to bring Dean Smith to Carrow Road back in November, the Canaries have failed to find any kind of boost. Although they might have been last seen playing out a 1-1 draw away at Wolves last weekend, the former Aston Villa boss has seen his side get hit with an immediate Championship return. Once again sat rock bottom of the Premier League table and looking like they will lift the wooden spoon this year, Norwich will know that they face a huge task on Sunday afternoon. In the midst of what has become another top-f…
